Footage Released Of Rihanna Hitting Fan In Birmingham With Microphone

During a "Diamonds" tour stop in Birmingham, Rihanna clubbed a member of the audience with her microphone after a front-row fan grabbed hold of her as she passed on stage. The man would not let go, which led to his getting bonked.
A clip of the incident, which happened at Birmingham's LG Arena, was uploaded to YouTube and has already garnered nearly 3 million views. The clubbing occurred during her performance of "We Found Love."
One fan in the audience hit Twitter to comment on the incident: "[Rihanna] just hit someone with her mic on accident haha oops." Prompting a reply from Riri: "Purpose! That [expletive] wouldn't let me go!" The tweet was later deleted.
Rihanna finishes up the U.K. leg of her current tour on June 20 with a stop at Sunderland's Stadium of Light.
