6/20/2013 4:05 PM ET In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest , Britney Spears announced that she would soon be releasing a new album, which may surprise even her biggest fans: "It's definitely at the beginning stage right now. I want to make it a little different from anything I've ever done," adding that fans can expect the album "by the end of the year." She also noted that she'd be working with William Orbit and will.i.am —the latter of whom she says is really spicing things up: "Will has some really interesting tracks. There's a lot of guitar. I think people will be surprised. I think William Orbit is coming into town for me to work with next week. I've never worked with him before so I'm so excited."

6/20/2013 5:53 PM ET During a "Diamonds" tour stop in Birmingham, Rihanna clubbed a member of the audience with her microphone after a front-row fan grabbed hold of her as she passed on stage. The man would not let go, which led to his getting bonked. A clip of the incident, which happened at Birmingham's LG Arena, was uploaded to YouTube and has already garnered nearly 3 million views. The clubbing occurred during her performance of " We Found Love ." One fan in the audience hit Twitter to comment on the incident: "[Rihanna] just hit someone with her mic on accident haha oops." Prompting a reply from Riri: "Purpose! That [expletive] wouldn't let me go!" The tweet was later deleted. Rihanna finishes up the U.K. leg of her current tour on June 20 with a stop at Sunderland's Stadium of Light.

The leader of Exodus International , a Christian ministry that worked to help people repress same-sex attraction, has apologized to the gay community for inflicting "years of undue suffering." He plans to close the organization while launching a new effort to promote reconciliation. "The church has waged the culture war, and it's time to put the weapons down," Alan Chambers told The Associated Press on Thursday, hours after announcing his decision at Exodus' annual conference and posting his apology online. "While there has been so much good at Exodus, there has also been bad," Chambers said at the conference. "We've hurt people." Based in Orlando, Fla., Exodus was founded 37 years ago and claimed 260 member ministries around the U.S. and abroad. An 80C engine motorcycle has been launched in Anambra state by the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) The motorcycle was unveiled as first motorcycle produced in Nigeria. Dr.Mohammed Haruna is the vice chairman of NASENI, he appeal to the Federal Government to ban the importation of motorcycles, promising that with financial assistance, they can produce better motorcyles. “About 20 million Nigerians today rely on motorcycles as a means of transport and many unemployed youths and men support their families or earn a living from running motorcycle as a commercial venture. Imagine the large number of jobs that will be created if only Nigeria could close her borders against the importation of motorcycles and allow entrepreneurs to invest in the manufacturing of the parts including production of the motorcycle locally.
